Tips for Highlighting the Hair

Highlighting is basically done to add more dimensions to the hair. It also aims to make the hair look fuller and vibrant. It also poses an individual to look more young and radiant.

The coloring or dyeing of hair would result to be more expensive. But you can also color your hair at your residence, which is the easiest, and the cheapest way to follow.

Some of the Tips or highlighting the hair is: -

·         You have to choose the right color: - It is best to choose a color, which is one, or two shades lighter than the base color of your hair. But you must be very careful that it doesn't go to be too light because it might look very much unnatural in that way.

·         Protect and cover your skin and clothes: - While coloring or dyeing you must cover your shoulder a clothes with a towel, to avoid spilling the color or the bleach on your skin and clothes.

·         You must be familiar to the tools: - You should be very much familiar of using the applicator and must be very sure of the fact that you the process. You should always use a normal conditioner.

·         Read the Instructions: - Before applying the applicator, you should read the process thoroughly. 

·         Prepare the Bleach: - After following the instructions, you have prepared the color bleach.

·         Divide your hair: - You need to divide your hair in four sections with a clip or a rubber band.

·         Apply the Bleach: - You should start applying the bleach from at least 1/4 of an inch away from your roots and then end with very much thinner stripes.

·         Adequate Time: - Leave the color for the adequate time allotted time.

·         Toner: - After this you can apply the toner but it is again an optional method.

·         Shampoo your hair: - Wash out and shampoo your hair and apply conditioner and make sure of the fact that all the dye has gone out.

·         Dry your hair: - Dry your hair with a dryer and check the results. But it is normal, that the color will actually take a couple of days to set in your hair.
